The Building Codes Board of Adjustments and Appeals (BCBAA) can hear any appeal from a decision of the building official as to the application of interpretation of a technical code pursuant to section 9-21 of the Orange County Code, any appeal from a decision of the building official regarding an application for a certificate of competency, and grievance hearings on charges brought against a holder of a certificate of competency.
