Mayor Jacobs Kicks-Off 2013 Summer of Service Initiative

Orange County, FL – Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs announced today the start of the 2013 Summer of Service initiative, a month-long project featuring volunteer service events and opportunities through which citizens can become involved to serve their community. Volunteers will give of their time in the neighborhoods surrounding Ward Park in Winter Park to help clear debris and tag storm drains with “no dumping” labels. Additional activities are scheduled throughout the month.
