Public Meeting on Widening of Boggy Creek Road on June 7, 2016

Orange County, FL – Orange County is completing design for the widening of Boggy Creek Road from two lanes to four lanes from Jeff Fuqua Boulevard to Wetherbee Road, a length of approximately 1.25 miles. The improvements will consist of a four-lane divided urban roadway with on-road bicycle lanes, sidewalks, stormwater ponds, street lighting and upgrading the traffic signal at the intersection of Wetherbee Road. The project also includes constructing a new bridge over Boggy Creek. The County is hosting a public meeting to present the proposed improvements as well as to engage the public to obtain feedback. The County encourages attendance at this public meeting in order to provide citizen input.

There will be a presentation followed by a question-and-answer forum. Maps and displays depicting project information will be available for public review and comment. Project representatives will also be present to discuss the study and answer any questions.
