Together We Can End Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is not a private family matter. Rather, it is a public health and safety issue that spans gender, age, sexual orientation, and religion, and affects people of all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. In the United States, one in three women, and one in four men are victims of domestic violence. An average of 20 people in the United States experiences intimate partner physical violence every minute. This translates to more than 10 million abuse victims annually.

Who We Are

Orange County’s Domestic Violence Commission was created to assess gaps in services, identify significant issues and recommend solutions to help reduce incidents of domestic violence.
