To bond a person out of jail, you can either contact a bonding company by looking in the telephone book under "Bail Bonds" or you can bring the full, exact amount of the bond in the form of a money order, travelers' check, or certified/cashier's check (no personal checks) to the the public windows in the Booking and Release Center lobby at 3855 South John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32839. Certified/Cashier's checks, travelers checks and money orders must be made payable to the "Clerk of the Courts." Additionally, you can pay by Western Union Cash Transfer of Funds at any of the Western Union offices or agent locations. The Western Union city code is: ORLFLJAILCLERK. For additional information about using Western Union in lieu of a money order or certified/cashier's check, call 1-800-634-3422 (Spanish 1-800-325-4176).
When posting a bond, proper identification is required.
Note: If the inmate is incarcerated on charges not originating in Orange County, the money order, travelers' check or certified/cashier's check should be made out to the Sheriff of the originating county. One exception is with cases originating from Osceola County. In this case, the money order, traveler's check or certified/cashier's check should be made payable to the Osceola County Department of Corrections. |
