Orange County' Environmental Protection Division has ordinances designed to help ensure that our county remains a healthy and enjoyable place to live. 

These ordinances fall into several categories:

Divisional Operating Guidelines are offered to provide additional information and clarification on issues relating to the County's environmental rules and regulations.

A Specific Project Expenditure Report (SPR) must be filed with every project or item that will come before the Board of County Commissioners after September 1, 2008.  The SPR must be filed 14 days prior to the Board date.

Please allow five (5) to ten (10) business days to allow for a thorough research of our division databases.  If there are specific records on the requested site, the personnel to contact to schedule a file review will be indicated on the EPD Records Response Form.  Please contact Daisy Arus after the 10 days if you haven't received any information.

*Please make a formal record request through the Orange County Attorney's Office, (407) 836-7320, for any records that are in litigation.

The Orange County Environmental Protection Division's updated permitting fees became effective October 1, 2008.
