In addition to installation of new signs fabricated by the sign shop, sign installers perform preventive and responsive maintenance of over 79,000 traffic signs to ensure safe and efficient traffic operation throughout the County. Routine inspections of exisiting signs on major corridors and neighborhood streets are performed to ensure good visibility and reflectivity. Several satellite sign storage facilities have been secured to minimize staff travel time and allow quicker response to dispatches. |
