  • April 2005 Redesign - Orange County's website was redesigned with a new interface and new features such as 'A to Z Information', 'Quick Links To' drop-down in the top banner, and 'Community Alert'. 
  • August 2003 through 2004 - More than 3.5 million people visited OrangeCountyFL.net in 12 months.
  • May 2002 - Orange County Animal Services' NetPets made its online debut.
  • April 2001 - Orange County launched Spanish language versions of its top-level web pages.
  • August 2000 - oNETgov.net passed a major milestone—more than 1 million visitors for the year.  
  • March 1999 - Orange County held its first live chat moderated by Chairman Mel Martinez; it was an overwhelming success which captured the attention of local news media.
  • Late 1998 - The Orange County website had grown to more than 1,500 web pages, including searchable databases and online forms.
  • Early 1998 - oNETgov.net (pronounced "oh-net-guv-dot-net") became the official domain name. This name was later changed to the more descriptive name, 'OrangeCountyFL.net' and its shorter version, 'ocfl.net'.
  • November 1997 - Incarcerations Online became Orange County's first interactive web page allowing database search of inmates in the Orange County jail system.
  • Mid 1997 - Orange County published an award-winning interface and 500 additional web pages.
  • January 1996 - Orange County's first website version was launched.
