About the Artist
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Donald Harcourt De Lue’s career spanned an impressive six decades. Highly regarded in the artist community both for his talent and character, De Lue was known as a “sculptor’s sculptor” and served as a president of the National Sculpture Society. Among his many accolades, De Lue is most often praised for his virtuosity in sculpting the human form in the traditional method.
