Description:As a follow up to the July 20, 2016 and the August 3, 2016 Stakeholders Meetings, members of the Tourist Development Council have been invited to participate in a meeting on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gary Sain Caf at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, Orlando, Florida, with representatives from the following organizations: Florida Citrus Sports, Central Florida Hotel Lodging Association (CFHLA), Central Florida Sports Commission, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, International Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce, Orange County Convention Center, Orlando Ballet, Orlando Philharmonic, Orlando Science Center, Rosen Hotels, Hyatt Regency Orlando Convention Center, Hilton Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, United Arts, Visit Orlando, Universal Orlando, and Walt Disney World. The subject of the meeting is to review the Tourist Development Tax grant applications for Venues & Capital Projects and for Events (drafts attached) being proposed by the CFHLA, to finalize these documents for approval by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners.
