Support For Recovery

Recovery support services (RSS) assist individuals in maintaining remission and preventing relapse. Support services include a range of social, educational, legal, and other services that facilitate recovery, wellness, and improved quality of life.

Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CRPS)

Lived experience is a foundation of peer-to-peer support services. The CRPS credential designates competency in Recovery Support, Advocacy, Mentoring, and Professional Responsibilities from individuals who are in recovery from mental health and/or substance use conditions.

Alcoholic Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.

SMART Recovery

SMART Recovery is an abstinence-oriented, not-for-profit organization for individuals with addictive problems. Our self-empowering, free mutual support meetings focus on ideas and techniques to help you change your life from one that is self-destructive and unhappy to one that is constructive and satisfying. SMART Recovery does not use labels like “addict” or “alcoholic.” We teach scientifically validated methods designed to empower you to change and to develop a more positive lifestyle.
