Headline 2: Due to the hurricane, all Orange County Parks and Recreation sites, programs and facilities and EPD Green PLACE properties will be CLOSED Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10. Parks and Recreation sites will re-open after being checked for damage and debris, and deemed safe for public use.

Youth Programs

  • Go Ju Karate is for all ages! Learn self-defense and develop self-confidence. Taught by certified black-belt instructors, classes are for anyone, whether a beginner or advanced. Program offered on Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Cost: $50 per month.
  • Youth Fitness Membership is available for free for ages 8 – 17 to use the gymnasium and game room at assigned times. Parent or guardian must be present to complete enrollment.

Adult Sports and Programs

  • Adult Basketball (ages 18 and older) - Fall 2024
    • Registration: July 26 to August 23, 2024
    • 12 teams maximum
    • League Play: Thursdays, September 5 to November 14, 2024; season is eight games plus two weeks of playoffs.
      • Game times: 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.
    • Cost: $350 per team, up to 10 players, teams must provide jerseys following NFHS basketball regulations.
    • Mandatory captain/manager meeting TBD
  • Fitness Center Memberships are $100 per year for ages 16 - 54 or $25 for 90 days; $75 per year for ages 55+ and active military. Membership includes access to fitness area and assigned times for gymnasium and game room. (Individual fitness classes are paid separately and do not require membership.)
