What’s Changing?
Medical:
- High plan: Added co-payments after deductible, increased out of network.
- Low plan: Increased deductibles, out of pocket max, co-payments, and out of network.
- No premium increase for employees.
- Cigna is transitioning to Digital ID cards effective 01/01/2024, register or log in on myCigna.com® or the myCigna® App.
Dental:
- No 2024 plan design changes to any of our dental plans.
- Dental premiums under High, Middle, and Low options are increasing slightly, beginning January 1, 2024.
- Insurance cards will be issued for new enrollments.
Vision:
- No changes to plan design.
- No premium increase for employees.
- Remember your network name: Superior Vision Network by MetLife.
- Insurance cards will be issued for new enrollments.

Spending Accounts:
- Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) increased max. - $3,050
- Dependent Care Spending Account (DCSA) – $5,000 (No change)
- Healthcare Spending Account (HSA) - $4,150 (individual) $8,300 (family)
- Limited Purpose FSA (LPFSA) increased maximum - $3,050
Life Insurance:
- No changes to plan or premium.
Disability Insurance:
- No changes to plan or premium.

Is your child eligible for County life insurance?
Your child must meet the following requirements:
- Unmarried children from live birth through age 25
- Unmarried stepchildren and the child of your spouse through age 25 if living with you
- Unmarried disabled children
- Grandchildren cannot be covered by child dependent life insurance
If you have added a dependent to one or more plans, you may be required to upload documentation to HR by October 28, 2023.

- Initial Enrollment: If dependent is being added to County healthcare coverage for the first time, then dependent documentation is required.
- Dependent Child (biological, adopted/custodial, or grandchild): If dependent child has ever been covered on one or more healthcare plans (medical, dental, or vision), and is being added to another healthcare plan, additional documentation is not required.
- Spouse/Stepchild: If dependent spouse or stepchild has been covered on one or more healthcare plans (medical, dental, or vision) within the last five (5) years, and is being added to another healthcare plan, additional documentation is not required.

Open your Health Savings Account (HSA):

- Ensure that your HSA is open and active.
- If it is not open and active at the time of funding, you will receive your employer funding ($750/$1250) into your paycheck minus applicable taxes.
