Film Incentive Workgroup

This workgroup will explore establishing a film incentive program to attract creative talent, promote local businesses and showcase Orange County’s unique assets.

Overview

The Orange County Film Incentive Workgroup was established by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners with the goal of exploring the creation of a film incentive program. Six counties in Florida currently have film incentive programs aimed at attracting high-wage film and television production opportunities.

The workgroup is comprised of experts from the film and television production industry, education, and labor unions. The workgroup will evaluate opportunities and provide recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on issues such as funding, staffing, and partnerships.
