• Fish4Fun is a free catch-and-release fishing event for ages 12 and younger that takes place at four parks (see below – children can participate in any or all four events); each on-site registration starts at 7:30 a.m.; fishing tournament 8-10 a.m.; and winners recognized 10 a.m. We encourage family and friends to fish with their registered child and to bring your own fishing gear if you have it; supplies will be offered to registered children, while supplies last. Shingle Creek Trail Phase 4 Community Meeting #2, October 24

• The Orange County Parks and Recreation Division and District 6 Commissioner Mike Scott invite you to attend the second in-person community meeting to discuss survey results for Shingle Creek Trail Phase 4 on Thursday, October 24, 6-7 p.m. at Barnett Park! Learn about the options of connecting our Pine Hills Trail to the south with this new segment, across Colonial Drive / State Road 50, to the City of Orlando's segment of the Shingle Creek Trail... and beyond! Youth Programs

• Youth Fitness Membership is available for free for ages 8 – 17 to use the gymnasium and game room at assigned times. Parent or guardian must be present to complete enrollment.

Adult Sports and Fitness

• Fitness Center Memberships are $100 per year for ages 16 - 54 or $25 for 90 days; $75 per year for ages 55+ and active military. Membership includes access to fitness area and assigned times for gymnasium and game room. (Individual fitness classes are paid separately and do not require membership.)
• Pickleball for ages 18 and older is held on Monday 6-8 p.m. Cost: included with fitness center membership or $10 per day.
