Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program

The Ryan White Part A Program is a federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB). The program provides HIV-related services for those who do not have sufficient health care coverage or financial resources for coping with HIV disease.

Orange County Government is the official Orlando EMA RWHAP Part A Recipient that provides funding for medical and support services provided by not-for-profit, private, public and government entities. These services are provided to residents with HIV of Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Lake Counties.

The goal is to create a collaborative system of HIV care that provides swift and seamless linkage to continuous and comprehensive services for the following:

Case Management

Referral for Health Care and Support Services

Activities provided under this service category may include referrals to assist HRSA RWHAP-eligible clients to obtain access to other public and private programs for which they may be eligible (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare Part D, State Pharmacy Assistance Programs, Pharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Patient Assistance Programs, and other state or local health care and supportive services, or health insurance Marketplace plans).
