If approved, the new lots will be 1.24 gross acres and 1.49 gross acres in size. The existing R-T-2 zoning district is not consistent with the property?s Rural Settlement 1/1 Future Land Use designation. Therefore the requested A-2 zoning is required for lot split approval. The A-2 zoning district is intended to be composed largely of land used for livestock and poultry production but permits single family residential uses.
