A Veterans Service Officer (VSO) is a trained and accredited representative employed by the local county or city in most cases. VSOs have your best interest in mind and exist to help you get the benefits you are entitled to and eligible for. They will educate and assist you with claims and are free of charge.

  • What do I need to bring?
Although there is no mandatory documentation required for an initial consultation, it is recommended that you bring any applicable Military Service Records that establishes that the veteran has served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
