Lake Apopka Connector Trail Grand Opening Set for February 28

Join Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and District 2 Commissioner Christine Moore for the Lake Apopka Trail Connector Grand Opening, on Saturday, February 28, at 10 a.m.! The event will be held at Magnolia Park, 2929 S. Binion Rd., Apopka.

When completed in early 2026, this phase will provide the connection from the West Orange Trail connection to the Lake Apopka Loop Trail, stretching through Apopka and Ocoee, from our Clarcona Horse Park to Magnolia Park. Join Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and District 2 Commissioner Christine Moore for the Lake Apopka Trail Connector Grand Opening, on Saturday, February 28, at 10 a.m.! The event will be held at Magnolia Park, 2929 S. Binion Rd., Apopka. When completed in early 2026, this phase will provide the connection from the West Orange Trail connection to the Lake Apopka Loop Trail, stretching through Apopka and Ocoee, from our Clarcona Horse Park to Magnolia Park. When Lake County completes one other project later in 2026, the trail loop around Lake Apopka will be complete, connecting the Lake Apopka Loop Trail, the West Orange Trail, the South Lake Trail and the Green Mountain Scenic Overlook in Lake County.
