Orange County Fire Rescue offers free home fire safety checks and smoke alarm installations.

To protect your family from fire:

  • Install Smoke Alarms:
    • In every bedroom
    • Outside each separate sleeping area
    • On every level of your home
  • Test your smoke alarms monthly
  • Replace all smoke alarms when they are over 10 years old or do not sound when tested
