The Charter Review Commission convenes every four years to review the Charter, the County government's constitution. Citizens are highly encouraged to attend the meeting and address the Commission during public comment. At this meeting, the first of two public hearings / votes will be held on the following items: 1) Transportation Committee - Consideration of the proposed amendment creating the Transportation Mobility Advisory Commission; 2) Governmental Structure Committee - Consideration of the proposed amendment establishing the charter office of County Attorney. At this meeting, the second of two public hearings / votes will be had on the following item: 1) Initiative Petitions Committee - Consideration of the proposed amendment revising the Orange County Charter Initiative Petitions process which includes revised ballot language to include the financial impact summary.
