May the 4th be with you! Inaugural Moss Islesly 5K Run/Walk on Monday, May 4th!

  • Come run through the woods for the inaugural Moss Islesly 5K Run/Walk on Monday, May 4, at Orange County Parks and Recreation's Moss Park (12901 Moss Park Rd., Orlando, FL 32832, https://tinyurl.com/OCMossPark). Dress for the Best Costumed Runner contest by wearing your favorite Star Wars(c) outfit! Those who register by April 20 are guaranteed to receive a T-shirt and medal; registration is open through race day.
  • Register for $10 at OCParks5K.org (a United Way web page); all proceeds benefit Heart of Florida United Way. Check-in and bag pick-up begins at 5:30 p.m., costume contest at 7 p.m. and race starts at 7:30 p.m. Questions? Email parks@ocfl.net.
  • Please note: the course is shell rock, compact dirt and asphalt.
  • Pets are not permitted in the park; service animals are welcome.

To make a pavilion reservation, please call the park directly at 407-254-6840 or email MossCamping@ocfl.net; please include your name, date requested for your pavilion reservation, phone number and the number of people expected to attend your event.

Orange County Parks and Recreation's Moss Park, Tibet-Butler Preserve and Shadow Bay Park are part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail!

Park Admission Fee: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people and $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people. With the exception of ADA service animals, pets are not allowed in Moss Park. No alcohol.

Tent and RV camping are available at this park.
