Youth Programs

  • Spring Break Camp Scooter registration for grades K - 5th is open through March 8 or until full (first come, first served) for March 13, 16,17, 18, 19 & 20; actual fee $96 (discounts apply).
  • Youth Flag Football spring registration is open now through February 24 at Barnett Park, Orlo Vista Park and Silver Star Recreation Center for ages 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 and 11/12. League plays at Barnett Park on Saturdays, March 7 – May 9. Cost is $55 per child ($20 out-of-county fee applies).
Adult Programs:
  • Adult Education ESL Program (English Speaker of Other Languages) requires that students who want to enroll in the ESL program first take the CASAS (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems) placement test. Registration and orientation take place at Catholic Charities Comprehensive Refugee Services Program.

    Registration requirements include:

    • To participate students must have a refugee, asylee or Cuban/Haitian parolee status;
    • Have been in the U.S. less than three years or have applied for asylum within three years;
    • Catholic Charities staff can arrange an appointment to register: Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Catholic Charities' office, located at 1771 N. Semoran Blvd., Suite A, Orlando). Call 407-277-1938 ext. 2067 or ext. 2324.

    Introductory Level English Class Schedule:

    • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (eight-week sessions)
    • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1 - 4 p.m. (eight-week sessions)
