Special Event

  • Create lasting memories at Meadow Woods Recreation Center's Let’s Glow Crazy! Daddy - Daughter Dance for daughters in Kindergarten through 6th grade, on Saturday, March 7, 6-9 p.m. Cost in advance is $25 per couple and $10 per additional daughter (includes photo, space is limited), or $35 per couple and $10 per additional daughter on the day of the event, if event is not full. Youth Sports and Programs

  • Alphabet Soup for 2- to 3-year-old children and their parents, teaches children the alphabet, numbers, shapes, fine motor skills and colors. Parents help their children participate in fun activities, including arts and crafts, toddler games and dancing with music while learning essentials to promote education while at home. Alphabet Soup is geared to teach children to build social skills helping them develop the skills necessary for pre-school. Parent must be present and participate during every class. Birth certificate required upon registration (child must be two years old as of September 1). Cost: $30 per child per session: six sessions with 10 classes per session, held on Mondays and Wednesdays 9 - 10:30 a.m.
    • Session 5 – January 29 through March 4: registration January 20 until full (no class February 17 for President’s Day).
    • Session 6 – March 9 – April 15: registration open February 17 until full (no class March 16 through March 20 Spring Break).
  • American Tae Kwon Do is for all ages! Improve physical fitness while learning self defense, self control, discipline and power. Mondays and Wednesdays 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. and 7 – 8 p.m. Cost: $20 registration fee and $65 per month.
  • Junior Explorers is a program that parents can drop off their 3- and 4-year-old children for fun-filled learning on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. This structured program teaches children basic phonics skills, writing, shapes, numbers and colors, builds social and fine motor skills, and helps prepare each child for pre-Kindergarten. Birth certificate required at registration (must be 3 years old as of September 1) and child must be potty trained prior to enrollment. Cost: $50 per child per session (six sessions with 10 classes per session). Bring snack and water to keep child a nourished and hydrated during class.
    • Session 5 – January 28 – February 27: registration open January 20 until full.
    • Session 6 – March 3 – April 9: registration open February 17 until full (no classes March 16 – 20 for Spring Break).
  • Just for Kicks indoor soccer registration for ages 7 - 12 is open now until full. League plays Saturdays, March 28 - May 9. Cost: $60 per child, birth certificate required; $20 out-of-county fee applies.
  • Parents Night Out for grades K - 5 allows you to drop off your child for a fun evening of pizza, snacks, games and crafts. Pre-registration is required and space is limited; cost: $10 per child. The program is held on the following Fridays 6 - 9 p.m.:

  • Spring Break Camp Scooter registration for grades K - 5th is open through March 8 or until full (first come, first served) for March 13, 16,17, 18, 19 & 20; actual fee $96 (discounts apply).
  • Toddlers in Motion, for ages 3 and 4, teaches children basic sports skills, team play and sportsmanship. Pre-registration and birth certificate required; cost: $10 per child per session (six sessions with five classes per session).
    • Session 5 - Flag Football, January 29 - February 26, registration open January 13 until full.
    • Session 6 - Soccer, March 4 - April 8 (no class March 18), registration open February 10 until full.
  • Youth Fitness Membership is available for free for ages 8 – 17 or currently enrolled as a high school senior: gymnasium and game room – assigned times. Parents must fill out a registration form and a school ID is required when you register.
  • Youth Volleyball spring registration for ages 9 – 17 is open until full; league plays Fridays, March 27 – May 15. Cost: $55 per person ($20 out-of-county fee applies).
Adult Sports and Programs
  • Adult Volleyball registration for ages 18 and older is April 1 - May 22; league plays Fridays, May 29 – June 19. Cost: $266 per team; 10-player team, must provide own jerseys.

  • Fitness Center Memberships are $100 per year for ages 16 - 54 or $25 for 90 days; $75 per year for ages 55+ and active military. Membership includes access to fitness area and assigned times for gymnasium and game room. (Individual fitness classes are paid separately and do not require membership.)
  • Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Come play with us and find out why pickleball is so popular! Join in the fun on Mondays and Wednesdays 8 - 10 a.m. Cost: included with fitness center membership or $10 per day.
  • Zumba Fitness is fun and easy international dance moves, choreographed to international music. This “exercise in disguise” will leave you wondering whether it was a workout or a party! Join the fun on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 – 8 p.m. Bring water and a sense of fun! Cost: $5 per class.
