Boat, RV, TPSC Permit

Include: Boat Parking, Recreational Vehicles (RV), And Temporary Portable Storage Containers (TPSC)

Process

  • Complete and submit an application for a Residential Fence, Recreational Vehicle, Boat Parking or TPSC (Temporary Portable Storage Container).
  • Submit a survey or site plan with the proposed storage location indicated.
  • Application is reviewed by the Zoning Division for compliance with Chapter 38.79(55) of the County regulations.
  • For approved applications, an invoice/permit is issued which must be paid by the applicant to the cashier. For unapproved applications, the issues preventing approval will be discussed with the applicant and either the application can be amended/corrected or if applicable the applicant may choose to apply for a variance from the Code requirements.
  • The permit is issued to the property owner, lessee or contractor.
  • TPSC placed in conjunction with moving activities may be permitted for fourteen (14) days; TPSC placed for reconstruction and/or remodeling may be permitted for thirty (30) days; and a TPSC placed for new construction may be permitted for maximum of 180 days.

Submittal Guidelines

  • Application for Residential Fence, Recreational Vehicle, Boat Parking or TPSC Permit.
  • Survey or site plan of the property, including all existing structures, setbacks and proposed location of the fence.
  • Photograph of the Recreational vehicle or boat and a copy of the vehicle registration.
